BLUETTI makes portable power stations, home battery backup systems, expansion batteries and solar panels built on long-life LiFePO4 battery chemistry. This collection covers the Premium and Elite portable power stations, the Apex 300 home backup system with BlueCell expansion batteries, the EnergyPro whole-home energy systems, the RV5 RV power system, SORA and folding solar panels, and the chargers, hubs and accessories that connect them.
How to Choose the Right BLUETTI System
- Match capacity (Wh) to runtime: add up the watts of what you want to run and multiply by the hours you need. Compact Premium models suit camping and short outages; Apex 300 and EnergyPro systems are sized for home backup.
- Check output (W) and surge: continuous output must exceed your largest load; surge capacity matters for refrigerators, pumps and power tools.
- Plan for expansion: Apex 300 adds BlueCell B300K or B500K batteries, so you can start small and grow capacity later.
- Add solar for recharging: pair a station with SORA or folding solar panels for off-grid charging. Check the station's maximum solar input and voltage range.
- Home integration: for whole-home or circuit-level backup, plan for the AT1 smart distribution panel or an EnergyPro system and a licensed electrician.
BLUETTI FAQs
What battery chemistry does BLUETTI use?
Most BLUETTI power stations and expansion batteries use LiFePO4 (lithium iron phosphate), known for long cycle life and thermal stability. The Pioneer Na uses sodium-ion cells.
Can a BLUETTI power station back up my home?
Yes, higher-capacity systems like the Apex 300 and EnergyPro 6K are designed for home backup and can connect to your home's circuits through compatible transfer equipment installed by a licensed electrician.
Can I charge BLUETTI with solar panels?
Yes. BLUETTI stations accept solar input, and BLUETTI solar panels connect directly. Check each model's maximum solar wattage and voltage before choosing panels.
Can I add more battery capacity later?
Many models are expandable. For example, the Apex 300 works with BlueCell B300K and B500K expansion batteries, and FridgePower works with the BlueCell 200.
